AquaPaque® Textile Colors are water-based screen printing inks for printing on dark colored fabrics. As the name suggests, water-based inks are those which can be dissolved in water. Such inks use water as the main component to carry the color pigment.
Water-based ink completely soaks into the fabric instead of sitting on it. This is the reason why water-based inks give a soft, clean, and a long-lasting print. Moreover, one with no, or little screen printing experience can work efficiently with water-based screen printing ink.
AquaPaque® Textile Colors are screen printing inks designed for printing on dark colored backgrounds.
From the product label:
AquaPaque® Textile Colors are designed for printing on dark textile backgrounds. They may be used as is, extended, or mixed with other AquaBrite®/AquaPaque® colors. They should be heat set at 300 degrees Fahrenheit. You may, however, let the printed garments dry at room temperature and then iron from the reverse side, or use a tumble dryer. Screens made with Holden’s Emulsion 250 are recommended. Use mesh counts between 110 and 160 for best results. Higher mesh count will require the addition of propylene glycol to increase flow.
